| its NOT a Lotus Cortina,they were only converted from 2 door models..this one has 4 doors. |

| Its actually a Cortina GT. The shield on the rear wing is quite clear (the Lotus badge was circular in the same area) and the rectangular 'GT' addition to the Cortina name on the back. It was quite common for them to be painted as Lotus Cortinas by 'wannabe' owners. |
