This was market as 2018 model that will be on sale in the USA, so built in India and Made for: USA? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_EcoSport#2017_update -- Last edit: 2017-08-13 19:30:49 |

Doesn't appear to have US-spec headlights... and the US-spec version hadn't entered production when this movie was being produced. |

either pre-production or CGI ( voting for the 2nd option.. ) but yeah, should be a 2018 ( at least it will be in Canada.. same in US ? ) |

No, it shouldn't, as it isn't US-spec despite being set in the US... it's an international 2017 model which was the first model year for this generation. |

The movie was Film in Georgia, USA. Could be just a CGI car. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3896198/locations?ref_=tt_dt_dt -- Last edit: 2017-08-13 20:00:11 |

It's deliberate product placement; Ford used the tie-in in advertisements for the EcoSport. Presumably they provided an international 2017 model for filming. |
