98% is overstating the case somewhat. There certainly were many electric cars around at the time but not that many. I had thought it might be an electric as you can see the works on the rear axle. Now just have to determine the make. |

Not a Ford for lots of good reasons. It is an electric of some sort, but not one of the more well known makes. Maybe made for movie?? The styling of the car is not right for 1901 either. A Google search of various early electric cars will show that. |

Plausible as it has to look brand new, the (faux) leather seats certainly do. |
