If it's the same truck as in this picture /vehicle_105462-Chevrolet-Camaro.html It has to be closer to a 1992 or 1993

It's not, the truck in the second picture is an extended cab.

I see a CHMSL. If this is a 1988, they must've added it later.

Are you guys sure it's not the same truck as in the other picture? I mean everything looks the same about it, even the placement in the driveway. As for it being an Extended Cab, I honestly can't see it. It may or may not be but I can't make it out. To me it could also be a Regular Cab model.

tonkaTRACKER is right, it's a cargo light, not a CHMSL. '88-'93, most likely C-series (2WD) 1500. The truck in the second picture is a '94-'98 with that grille, and tow hooks makes it a K-series (4WD) . It also has lighter colour on the rocker panels, this truck has the same shade of blue (look near the rear bumper, below the bodyline).

Yep, C1500 88-93, also of note is the truck is the Silverado trim level as the "Chevrolet" tailgate emblem has a silver background.

[GMT400]. I agree the other truck listed is a different one.

About the tow hook comment. Tow hooks are optional on C-Series trucks; although I have yet to see or ID one personally. I am just reading what the dealer brochures have stated after looking at most of the brochures from 1988-2002 (yes HD models lasted until 2002 on the GMT400 chassis).

Edit: 1992-1993 by the absence of the EFI badge on the tailgate.
