PA Cresta's in the following:
Rab C Nesbitt scottish TV series episode "offski" venetian red / alaska white PADX drives by on the embankment in London (it might even be me driving!!!). Only saw episode once & view is fleeting.
"the Cracksman" film starring Charlie Drake 3 window pink/grey cresta in background in one scene. Another PA in background on London embankment.
"Postmans Knock" film starring Spike Milligan. PA's in background of several scenes.
Film with title something similar to "the day the earth stood still" (but not that film). Starring amongst others Leo McKern. Film set in london (disaster film where nuclear blasts tilt the earths axis), PA in background in Battersea Park.
Could the owners of the site please email me with correct procedure to let them know of new links. Regards.........
Forgot another PA in TV series.
2 tone pink PA in series starring Letitia Dean.
Feature car in series.
Think the series was called "Call Girls",
about a group of ladies working at a manual
telephone exchange in northern England.
Hi. This is not a 61 PA Cresta but a 61 PA Velox (the slightly less salubrious version of the two. You can tell because it has no wheel embellishers (just hubcaps) is one colour instead of two tone as per Crestas and has no stainless steel trim around the door glass which a Cresta does have. I supply parts to keep these cars on the road and believe this car to be in ownership in the West Indies where this was filmed. I have supplied parts there recently for a 60 PA Velox and the current owner tells me it is green. Might just be wishful thinking on my part tho!
