20 KO issued Dec 63, now on a Sierra RS Cosworth. Described as Doug Worgan's (?) "Ford Special" (I couldn't decide if voiceover said Morgan or Walker, but eventually decided it was Worgan or similar). Set fastest time of day in autotest, so overall winner of weekend. Has "fiddle brakes" which is a new one on me .. and is very fast and nippy on the hillclimb and around the test course. |

Fiddle brakes allow the bouncer to stop one or other rear wheels from spinning. A sort of manual limited slip differential. -- Last edit: 2017-07-04 10:41:32 |

Confirmed as Doug Worgan, car known as DHW Special and was national BTRDA Autotest Champion in 1967 and 1968. The only Ford small enough to provide 1963 bits would be Anglia 105E/123E. |
