It was provided by Spyker if I remember well (I mean that the car was not just bought like another by the producers of the movie). Maybe they made a "unfinished" version for the crash scene. -- Last edit: 2006-10-26 17:55:39 |

There were in fact four cars.![]() Two of them were rolling shells, one was a fully practical prototype, and the fourth one was a brand new car. One of the rolling shells was fired into the Thames using a ramp and a pnumatic cannon. (A 1990 Toyota Supra was as a tester) ![]() The second rolling shell was used in a tank to shoot the underwater scenes. The Prototype was supposed to have been used for all the driving scenes but was crashed during rehersals (see pics) so the new car that was only supposed to be used inside the studio was used as the stand in. ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2007-10-15 17:04:41 |

The stunt car that was crashed was a brand new car, it was provided by Spyker for use in the movie. Afterwards it was repaired and sold to someone in Korea. The car currently resides in Japan. https://exclusivecarregistry.com/details/spyker/c8/27768 |
