The white one has its page there: /vehicle_104284-.html Note that the logo on the truck is the company that uses the truck, not the company that made it (well, except if they just used the same logo) -- Last edit: 2007-05-06 23:13:10 |

I'm pretty sure they're Modecs (found by putting "electric van UK" into Google), but the headlamps are not exactly the same as on the current models. Perhaps the vans in the film were prototypes. http://www.modec.co.uk/vehicles.htm Update: They must be prototypes, because commercial production began in March this year. http://www.modec.co.uk/faq.htm -- Last edit: 2007-05-06 23:21:47 |

Lifted from www.treehugger.com : "mazza says: Saw a preview screening of Antony Minguella's "Breaking and Entering" last night (well worth seeing but that's another story) The Modec van featured prominently - and it looked good! November 7, 2006 9:50 AM |" -- Last edit: 2007-05-07 22:39:06 |

There is a pic of one just like in the main pic in this 2005 article which refers to it as one of "Electric Mercury range of zero emission, inner-city/urban delivery vehicles" by Modec Vehicles. It also notes it was launched (as a demonstration vehicle) in June 2004. Meanwhile, the one in antp's thumb has plate BX04 HFT (which looks suspiciously like the one in the article above): ![]() It comes back as make "LTI" everywhere, and I also found a July 2004 photo of it here where it's listed as LTI Electric Mercury. |
