I cannot find it. Steve, have you got any further information? Where and when was it filmed, etc. It is interesting, as it really flew, while most other aerocar concepts never got off the ground, not even off the drawing board. In the meantime have a look here: http://www.viewaskew.com/tv/leno/flyingcar.html |

I'll have a go at rewatching this part of the movie when I do my next captures (try to listen ..again.!) Pilou has identified some of the surrounding cars as 1950,1951 & another from 1955 ..if that helps? -- Last edit: 2007-05-03 12:59:51 |

Great, thanks! Mid-1950s was my guess and thanks to Pilou that is confirmed. |

I found out the makers name was Leland Bryan and this car had a 40hp engine.(in the documentary they just call it a 'Convertible' ..but the link below calls his flying cars 'Roadable's'. here's some extra info on this link:- http://www.fiddlersgreen.net/AC/aircraft/Aerocar/info/info.php -- Last edit: 2007-06-20 23:11:16 |

Great! Thanks for checking it out again, Steve! With the name I found this (rather grotty) picture: Link to "www.wanfangdata.com.cn" (Fig.8) |
