Interesting story from link above. "In 1974, Jensen boss, Kjell Qvale, was approached by film producer, Nico Minardos, about using a Jensen in a new film. With the new flagship Jensen Convertible being Qvale’s pet project, this seemed an excellent opportunity for product placement. Qvale also offered to finance the film (which sadly was a flop). Much of the filming took place on location in Greece and Kosovo. One of the first Jensen Convertibles was supplied - LHD chassis 2310/9491 in mustard with tan trim, initially registered in the UK as SOK 276M. After filming, it was sold to the USA, where it remained through the 1980s, and was repainted in a dusty rose colour, and by late 2014 had been repainted again, now in copper. It was offered on ebay, and re-imported into the UK, receiving the registration CNF 133M and being repainted yet again in dark green." |
