One thing I've always found very interesting about Jules' car is that we never really see the whole thing, there's never a long shot that shows it full frame. Only glimpses & parts. |

Is there difference between 1973 model year and this page? |

There are few years of american cars that are easier to ID then 1974. Fed regs mandated tail lights were no longer in the bumper this year, and the bumpers got much farther away from the body to meet low speed crash testing by the dot. The other year is 1968, the first year of federally mandated front side marker lights. |

How about 1973, when federally-mandated energy-absorbing front bumpers were adopted? |

Many Mopars still had taillights in the bumper up until 1978. '78 4 door Monaco/Fury for example. |

Why was the Malibu(G rwd) wagon and its platform siblings allowed to have their lamps in the bumper? A logical mandate by the feds. |

^ The ElCamino of that generation had its taillights in the bumper as well (until its demise in 1987), as far as I know there were no regulations prohibiting this. -- Last edit: 2011-10-06 04:44:38 |

I feel like this car should deserve 4 stars because it was used by the main characters for a while. But then again we only see the inside and the back of the car so maybe that doesn’t qualify it? |

I agree with four stars. |
