I would have thought this was another Xiali but the C-pillar doesn't match and it seems shorter in size.

Could this scene be CGI? This Volkswagen looks weird and this van is missing its rear license plate.

GC background cars in live action films are something that has only become common in the last few years. If the cars look like CGI, it's because of soft focus, blurring and poor lighting.
