If 1960 (impossible to be sure with this shot) , it was named Alpine Sports Car |

Impossible to be sure about the year 1960, indeed. But with the pointed tailfins, the small indicators and the logo on the bonnet instead of in the middle of the grille, it can be determined as a Series I (October 1959 - October 1960), Series II (October 1960 - February 1963) or Series III (March 1963 - January 1964). Later series and Tiger can be excluded. |

Agreed. Except that "Series I" wasn't labelled as the following Alpine (series II, III etc..), but as Sports Car. The 1961 MY became " Alpine Series II" with a 1.6L engine instead of the former 1.5L |
