Typical Maltese bus, so will be very, very difficult to determine. We had a discussion like this for Steven Spielberg's Munich movie. |

It looks like it dates from the early'60s and it certainly has a Bedford grille and badge so it is probably still registered as a Bedford but it has more than likely had several mechanical upgrades over the years so there may not be much Bedford left in it! Here in NZ they get repowered with all sorts of different engines. |

believe it or not, its actually an ex WW2 british Army Bedford QLD truck!!, one of about 5 bearing "DBY 3.." number plates..i kid you not. |

Bulit in Malta, I'd say. I've heard, that a lot of different buses were assembled there. |

yes until the 80s half change to plaxtons and dominants all bodies were made here and a couple of chassis too |
