![]() ![]() Possibly also this front seen earlier onscreen as part of same event ![]() which might be Daimler-ish. Or not. Or might be different car entirely. Cobham's famous landing in March 1926 on the Thames in front of huge crowds after flying to/from Cape Town. Commentary says he's being taken away to meet the King, so may be a royal limo. No trace of XT 4737 found apart from a mid-1924 plate. But XT 2522 turned up as Earl Mountbatten's 1924 Rolls Royce 40/50 h.p. Silver Ghost [135EM] - http://nice-reg.co.uk/info/index.html , https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/23589/lot/53/ and its rear - http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8002/7472342326_dba9d5602d.jpg - seems to have some similarities. So is this a royal Ghost?? |

Definitely some sort of Daimler - slatted petrol tank. Link to "books.google.co.uk" -- Last edit: 2017-03-29 23:27:16 |

So in 1924 choice seems to be 35/120 unless it's big enough to be 45 hp. Double Six was 1926+. |
