| both could be the old AMT/Ertl plastic kits of the Ford Thunderbird at left and the Corvette at right.. sometimes, like most of the posted thunderbirds pics, the models were factory fantasy products..sometimes they were conversions of commercially available kits or diecast cars. |

| The one to the left is based on the Monogram 1/24 scale 1958 Thunderbird kit, the one to the right on the MPC 1/25 scale 1965 Corvette kit, which was modified using the roof section of the AMT 1/25 scale 'Silhouette' kit. |
