This would have to be sometime between May 1998-September 1998. Evidence: 1. The brand new looking 1997-1998 Econoline 2. the 1991 Caprice taxi on the right (the last ones were retired by 1998-1999) 3. The 1987-1990 Caprice taxi (most died off in 1996-1997, a few lasted into 1998) 4. The slightly weathered 1996-1997 Crown Vics 5. Since the 6 year law was passed in 1996 for NYC taxicabs, I'm guessing the boxy Caprices were retired by the end of 1996 while 1991 Caprices were probably retired by 1997. |
