I listened the director's comments from DVD just recently, and it was mentioned, that this Lincoln is actually Snoop Dogg's own car.

Revise the year. NOT a 1976. Compare the grille shell in your other pictures for 76. It's a 77, 78 0r 1979.

If I refere to what snoop says ( it will be not presented untill next year .. ) and to what is say in the movie ( the movie takes place in 1976 ) I could that it's a 1978 Lincoln Continental ...

because in USA, the models of the next year are presented in the actual year ( for a car of 1975 it's presented to the public in september 1974 ) if we're in 1976 and that the ride will only be presented only in september 1977 it's saying that it's a 1978 model

thank you to be lenient as for my English ;)

Post-movie photos of the car indicate that it's a 1979, and that it wears Town Car badges painted over on the fenders. Open fender skirting and short fender moldings give away the year:

At any rate, it passes for a '78 - but not a '77.

For being a "new" car, Huggy's paint job boys do a pretty lousy job. Love the painted-over "LINCOLN Continental" script.
