After I searched a little harder, I found out, that this is a Ford Ltd of the year 1973. I think now its correct. Sorry about my previous post... For those who don't believe me. This one is not an LTD. It is a Galaxie 500. LTD's wore a more elaborate grille, and had more trim. |

This is 1974 Galaxie, the simpler front end of the "low-series" Fords got vertical strips for 1974. The eggcrate of 73 is much simpler in appearance. The upmarked LTD was even more elaborate. |

They used different cars. The car on junkyard is not the same as in chase. It has a blue sun visor, a different panel between rear lights with larger "F O R D" letters and chrome in taillights. I think, that`s because they removed all badges. Then the differences are not so visible.. |
