I should've phrased that better, was the Century available as a coupe on the G-body platform? I know there were the FWD Century coupes, but what about RWD? |

For a while in the late 70's and very early 80's the Century nameplate was on the same platform as the RWD Regal. If I remember correctly, the late 70's Century version was available as a "Aero" coupe and a 4-door sedan. At some point (around 1980 I think) the coupe version was discontinued and the Century badge was relagated to the 4-door sedan. Around 1982/83 the Century was based on the FWD Chevrolet Celebrity platform. The RWD Regal remained in production until 86/87. -- Last edit: 2007-04-19 06:06:14 |
