Omega B? |

Honda Accord? |

I'd also say Omega B as they were already spotted in China. |

So is this the Omega? |

I don't think so. To me the side window's line is not Omega-ish such as the grille and hood and head lights. So IMO something else. |

But the China scenes were filmed in Los Angeles? Then it would have been a Catera. |

Definitely not an Omega/Catera. No detail matches. Accord looks a bit better but the foglamps don't match. |

Were 2nd gen Toyota Windoms (Lexus ES) [XV10] marketed in China? I thought it might be that. |

As previously mentioned (and established) the scenes in China were filmed around Los Angeles, so it's useless to speculate whether a model was sold in China or not. |

The Shanghai scenes are a mixture of Los Angeles and real Shanghai locations. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mission:_Impossible_III#Filming The Chinese registration plate looks genuine, unlike many of the others. |

As suggested by CougarTim previously, and if this is truly China (and it's very possible since there are many Shanghai Santana's seen in the background), it could very well be 1999-2002 Guangzhou-Honda Accord. They even had these odd small foglamps in the bumper, which I don't think appeared in the original US versions. |
