Typical Rootes con trick, the utterly depressing Hawk side valve engine giving all of 56bhp, in a body that looks like it should have twin overhead cams and at least 80 horses. Cart springs all round, but at least it had hydraulic brakes. They even had the brass neck to continue using the solid front axle for the 80 and 90!
