On m'a dit 505, j'ai même pas fait attention en envoyant les images. En effet ça ressemble plus à des 604 |

Just read a comment in a magazine "Towards the end, there's a warehouse with a stash of unsold (and probably unsaleable) Federal-spec Peugeot 604s". Are there several visible onscreen or just this one? Did Peugeot try selling 604 in US? |

yes the 604 was sold in the US from 1977-1984. That being said I guess this one should be listed as a 1977 |

At least another one in front of it. And a blue 504 wagon in background. But I haven't seen the movie so I do not know if there are more visible. But why would these be unsaleable, as the movie was shot only one year after the start of importation of these -- Last edit: 2011-05-11 15:25:43 |

There's six of them (plus a few 504s) visible in the movie (1:22-1:23): and 604 sales were very low (less than 1,000 a year) and would have been even lower if not for the diesel engine option introduced in 1979, right in time for the second fuel price spike. -- Last edit: 2021-07-22 11:28:30 |
