Looks like Pontiac 6000 STE. |

Not an STE. The 1989 STE had a full ground effects kit and airdam, a small spoiler, and 3-spoke wheels (sometimes painted body color) with gold "STE ALL WHEEL DRIVE" badging on the doors. This car has hubcaps and no kit. It is a 6000 LE at best, maybe even a base model as it does not have the 5-spoke alloy wheels one tends to see on later-model 6000 LEs. It also appears to be missing the round Pontiac emblem in the middle of the grille. |

Correct, not an STE. Believe rusty mutt, he owns an STE. |

These are very nice cars. And I'm the proud owner of a 1986 6000 STE. -- Last edit: 2010-09-09 23:03:08 |

Door mounted seatbelts were introduced in 1990. The 1989 version had seatbelts mounted on the b-pillar. |
