Could be a 71-75 Chevrolet wagon |

I believe Richard of C is correct. |

Kingswood or Caprice? |

According to the 'Standard Catalog of American Cars' the name Kingswood was used for both the Impala and Caprice wagons in this era. The last year for the Biscayne series (Brookwood was the wagon) was '72. No mention of separate names for the wagons from '73 so I can't say what actually happened there. Was the woodgrain exterior available on the base model wagons as well?? -- Last edit: 2007-04-14 10:28:20 |

I believe the woodgrain sides was reserved for the upper end models. |

this could either be a 71-73 chevrolet caprice kingswood, or a 74-76 chevrolet caprice estate-in either case only the top of the line chevrolet wagon models came with woodgrain paneling-the 71-76 full size chevrolet wagons all had the gm clam tailgate and the wagon in the picture does have such a tailgate so to determine the correct name a front shot would have to be available to reveal what the front fascia looks like because chevrolet dropped the kingswood name after the 1973 model year and gave the newly named 1974 chevrolet caprice estate a facelift -- Last edit: 2007-06-15 02:05:20 |

I would say this is a 1974+ Caprice Estate instead. Looks like large rear bumper to me |
