Well, the other Elite of that style was maybe a II too: /vehicle_14517-Lotus-Elite-Type-75.html Or did Stronghold just mean a "series 2" of the non-II Elite of that style? -- Last edit: 2007-04-04 18:20:18 |

actually, that one is another Type 83 (4 seater), which is also a Series II |

ok But isn't Type 83 a "Elite II Series II"? In one of the source that I found the Type 75 was also Elite II (first series then) -- Last edit: 2007-04-05 13:39:18 |

Made for USA, judging by the big bumpers and side lights. |

Lotus is LHD, and the BMW [E3] behind it also seems to have big US bumpers and LHD. So is location a US diplomatic/embassy building in London?? |

I'm not familiar with the posh end of London, does that look like Grosvenor Square? |

It looks like the parking of The Dorchester hotel. Next to Hyde Park in Mayfair |

Something odd - US sales normally listed as 76-79, which clashes with film date. This is clearly US-ish, so maybe an early test/development car. Type 75 was 1974-79 2.0 litre, Type 83 1980-82 2.2 litre. |
