1958 or 1959 Ford Thunderbird convertible (white-behind bus)

1959-62 rectangular side roof signals. A TDH-/TDM-/TGH-/TGM-Something if a transit bus or SDH-/SDM-Something if a suburban version (I find the first thumbnail confusing).

@Elmer - The majority of these coaches were made as transits. Using Elmer's correct date, Suburbans did not exist until 1960. And using the destination sign, one may extrapolate that the above vehicle is most likely a TDH 5301/5302...

Second thumb shows transit-type seating...

Which means that a minority were suburbans, and should therefore not be forgotten as possibilities :)

Which would then make this one a 1960-62 model. I just set the 1959 model year as default one as I didn't know if this bus was a transit or a suburban model.

For me it could be a 35 ft/10.7 m long 45xx as well :)
But let's assume that this bus is a 40 ft/ 12.2 m 53xx model: once again, an even if very few were made (apparently 50 were made from 1959 until 1962), a TDM-530x model (with manual gearbox) should not be excluded without the list of a transportation company explaining which precise model "4501" is. Scarce doesn't mean inexistent.

Thanks to that thumbnail, that was my first conclusion too. But as already said, I'm confused by the 1st thumb which makes me think about a suburban (but don't ask me why, I didn't search more about that feeling).

@Elmer - A transit and a Suburban are the same bus. The differences are:

1. A transit has TWO service doors. A Suburban has ONE.

2. The seating - Think Greyhound-type seating for a Suburban. Transit seating, see above thumb.

3. Transits have standee windows (the darker color windows above the regular windows. Suburbans do not have them.

4. Suburbans may have underfloor luggage bays (ala Greyhound)

As mentioned previously, the above bus has transit seating and the standee windows...

This bus is 35 feet long and 96 inches wide, so it's a TDH4517. Culver City had a TDH4517 numbered 4501; it was a 1961. This is probably it. I'm going with 1961 GMC TDH4517.

Transits have been built with a single door, intercity-style seats, and luggage racks, and Suburbans have been built with standee windows. The big (visual) difference between a Transit and a Suburban is the Suburban will have luggage doors.
