I have found two sold at auction badged CL x00 and both were assembled May and June of 1996 as 1996s (carrying 806 code). Here is the first. Build sheetfor that one. Here is the second. Build sheet for the second. Now both build sheets say S xx0. The one built in May has newer tail lamps then the one built in June. I am wondering if someone toyed with these models to make them appear like CL xx0 instead of S xx0? Hard to tell.
tore-40 ◊ 2023-06-03 08:09	Probably. The blue 420 has been repaired and apparently somewhere along the line they replaced the taillamps and also deleted the badge (not in the build sheet). The red 600 has had a sip from the fountain of youth. For the subject vehicle, rather a CL, the updated bumpers with Parktronic and the Xenon lamps (old type seen here) are visible. The mirror 'bulge' is sensor and indicator lights for the short-lived IR locking system. Later moved to the door handle.
