Base model Ford mid size sedan from 1972 I think - the first year with side marker lights? Fairlane/Torino? Similar lines to the Australian Falcon. |

1970-1971 Fairlane/Torino family, four-door sedan, grille with single horizontal divider: 1970 Fairlane 500, 1970.5 Falcon, or 1971 Torino I don't see the '70 Fairlane 500 trim, but the car looks like it has been repainted so that's not necessarily disqualifying. It looks like there might be a crest on the center of the grille, which would definitely make it a Fairlane 500, but I'm not certain that's what I'm seeing. |

Going by what I read lower down this page - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Falcon_(North_America) - I would go with the 70.5 Falcon. The grille looks the same, with no crest in the centre. Probably a not-very-common model in base form? |
