What a mess. Agree main and first 3 thumbs are an imaginary E9 4 door. 4th thumb is a reasonable early E3 2500/2800 with pillar vents. 5th thumb becomes a Neu Klasse 1800 with single headlights. 6th thumb has round (2002?) rear lights also seen in 2nd thumb. |

proposal: main is Neue Klasse 1800 as HWJOE has recognized it was artist's intention to implement features of Coupé front in a sedan while 4th thumb could be listed extra as E3 2500/2800 |

Because the mecha(term with which Jap cartoon makers identify all mechanism present in an animated job,ranging from a simple clock and ending to a ship,plane,submarine or space ship)are mixed with similar but not identical ones(drawn by other cartoon designer when the main designer get another job or take a break,that explain the reason of diversity thru a car and another--they are the so-called"inbetweeners");same thing happens also at cartoon charachters of Jap 'toons,especially into action scenes(that's was a trick for make more fluid animation,using 16 frames per second while of 24 used by US-cartoon studios,e.g.).So, the same vehicle,but drawn by different hands,shown a different aspect(into the comics--manga--from which was taken TV-series,cars and other vehicles are totally ficticious;limited to cars,appears some back-finned US-styled cars,but underground-styled and only for that detail recognizables as US-cars,but without claim any Make and type,maybe why comic designer Monkey Punch--that launch Rupan Sansei comics in 1967--wasn't able to draw real cars or,simply,hate to draw real ones) |

Neue Klasse with a CS-Front. Or a four-door-CS with an early E12-front bonnet. Too bad drawn anyways. But as the whole movie worth to keep due its funny originality. -- Last edit: 2017-01-04 19:44:56 |
