Indeed, these are two of the four Singer Nine TT cars, often incorrectly referred to as the "TT Replicas'. The 'Replica' name was given to the 'production version' that was to be available to the public. That never happened as after this freak accident, Singer closed down their factory racing program and the cars were sold off. All four survive to this day and one, AVC 484, sold at auction in 2010. |
