I think in this time in UK, 5-door hatchback could be only 1.3 GL, in fact it looks like already pre-facelifted ones were GL only (but with different engine) - maybe dsl can verify this. At that point we had 1.0 - 4door saloon, 3door hatch and 5door estate, plus 1.2 - 2door coupe and new 1.2 introductions of 5door hatch, 3door hatch, 5door estate. Jan 81 all 1.0 dropped apart from 3door. Oct 81 all 1.2 upgraded to 1.3. Sept 82 all 1.0/1.3 discontinued when replacement [N12] arrived.
