Any stripes would be gone by the time of filming. With the three options available (Triple White, Bicentennial or the 1977 Champagne) the one available also with a grey/silver top, not the usual Light Sand, was the Champagne. 1977 Champagne Edition, also /vehicle_565682-Volkswagen-Convertible-Typ-1-1973.html - merge?
