1967 due to the E suffix on the plate. It should therefore be a Series IIa, but the headlamp location (with their top slightly above the fender line) and the door window shape make me more likely see a 1948-58 Series I here. Could it be possible despite the plate number?

(Series I // Series II/IIa)

Early Landies can often be older than their plate date if ex-Army etc and then sold on to private ownership. But I'm not sure about S1 - this has bodywork below the bottom of the doorline and the lower edge of the door window is lower than base of windscreen, plus door hinges do not look S1 big shiny Meccano-ish triangles. So I think S2 at least, and maybe 67 S2a could be correct???

Series 1 definite. Wing shape and door tops etc.
In the 1960s and 70s vehicles were given a number plate for the year they were registered not manufactured, hence many ex military vehicles have plates a lot newer than vehicle.
