Eastern Europe, so probably a Zastava 600, instead of Fiat.

Not really, where exactly it is?

In the third small picture you can see cyrillic letters...

I meant that it can be also Fiat even if it is in the 'Eastern Europe', for example Czechoslovakia imported only Fiats 600 (according to words of one of the Czech members) and we had both - Fiats and Zastavas.

I'm afraid we'll have to ask Datsun Z as the expert on Italian cars...

The photo was too blurry to identify that as a Fiat 600 or equivalent Zastava...for 1st thing I need to knew where was located the played scene(appears Cyrillics on billboards,by then,East Europe for sure, but could be a rebuilt location that must resembles into the movie an East Europe's fake city);exclude ex-USSR,'cause in that country don't were imported either Fiat and Zastava 600;possibly,while,ex-Yugoslavia(given that exist zones where Slav idiom came written in Cyrillics),and yes,in that case MUST be a Zastava 600(or the subsequent 750),being the original Fiat 600 never imported in that Country, having Yugoslav drivers just available license-made one.

PS My thesis about the fact was a Zastava car comes also why into comments section of that movie were posted some photo of unknown vehicles, and among those had "spotted" a damaged truck lookalike the Fiat 615,that was just built under license in Yugoslavia as Zastava Z 615;if the scene was played in the same locations of 600 car,was easy find
the answer...'cause the Z 615 wasn't exported in other Countries of East Europe(being overall reserved at home market...Z 615,BTW,weren't sold never in CS,PL,DDR,BG,H,RO and Russia)

It's a documentary, not a film with possible fake places... I'd think the series of black-and-white pictures are taken at the same (real) location.

I think that now we can be sure that it is a Zastava, the second yugoslavian car confirmed this.
