This one is wearing Heavy Duty under the F-250 script. commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1997_ford_f-250_heavy_duty_(badge).jpg |

rjluna2, this one is a 1992-96 model, and your link show a 1997+ model... |

That's to demo the BADGE, not the year. |

Also, this body style continued for 3/4-ton and heavier trucks until the 1997 model year. Only the 1/2-ton F-150 changed for 1997. Which means that this could be anywhere from a 1992-1997 model. -- Last edit: 2015-11-15 18:37:53 |

@ rtsbusman1997: I don't question what is written on the badge shown in this page, it's blurry but it says Heavy-Duty. I just don't see the point of linking to one showing a different design/lettering to support this clue. A real comparison should be made with a similar badge. @ Ford_Guy: This truck was initially set with a 1993 model year. But I must admit that I'm still in "basic training" for the Ford trucks, especially for the recent ones. This may explain why I gave a too short model year range Anyway, it's always a pleasure to see that rjluna2 is well thanks to his pictures. And it helps people who didn't read the Post pictures of yourself thread of the forum -- Last edit: 2015-11-16 02:42:37 |

The name badge shown on the link is exactly the same as the one shown on the truck here. I think rjluna's odd wording might have thrown you off. That would be the fault of the uploader, who entered an incorrect model year. Anyhow, I'm still trying to find more info on the F-250 Heavy Duty models. |
