etc. [1012BK78] is a French 1955 registration. Fifteen minutes in or with it. Jo Coett, alias 'Lucky Jo' (Eddie Constantine), drives it, here (it's understood he stole it). It will be seized by the police, then recovered and finally abandonned by Jo. The class "limousine" is naturally debatable. You know better. (And after all.) |

Jaguar Mk V. Half the price of a Bentley Mk VI and almost as good. Not a limousine, no division. -- Last edit: 2015-10-05 23:21:40 |

I saw the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYp3NLS-kEg and there is a shot (at 3'08")showing the front quarter window. This window has not that sharp angle that identifies the first series, then it is a 1950-1951. This quarter window in the front doors came also with the mechanism to keep it open, similar to the rear door quarter window, but in the end of 1950 the sharp angle window was replaced by the round corner and the mechanism was removed. So that it is a 1951 YM. -- Last edit: 2015-10-06 14:18:14 |
