zodiac ◊ 2015-10-04 22:40	It has white wall tyres and two tone paint work. And it has rather big overriders. All this points towards a Vedette Versailles rather than a Trianon. (Regency had even more ellaborate paintwork and Marly was the estate.) I don't know if it's a Ford or a Simca as I believe it used both names depending on the sales organisation in the country it was sold. DidierF ◊ 2015-10-05 03:56	If we give the date "1956" to the car, this can only be a Simca. The MY 55 Ford Vedette Versailles was presented in october 1954, Salon de l'Automobile, and the French Ford assets sold to Simca on summer 55.
DynaMike ◊ 2015-10-05 12:49	I guess I made a mistake by listing it as 1956 Ford. Indeed only the very first month these cars were sold as Ford in France, so there's much more chance this is a Simca.
