I'm not very sure what a Mahindra FJ or FC is supposed to look like - (yes, I've looked at our collection) - but this does not seem to fit either. More like a local-build Standard Atlas with the tucked-in front wheels. |

@dsl> You may be right, in any case, it is not a Mahindra FJ, because the FJ arrived in 1983 and the film is from 1969. http://www.cherokee-fr.com/ |

Can anyone find a date for start of Indian assembly for Standard Atlas (or Standard 20 if that was the alternative name)?? The only solid dates seem to be 1970 when after UK production ended in 1968, the tooling was sold and shipped out to Stampro in 1970. But some of our Indian examples have earlier film dates, so the 1970 tooling arrival was a second stage, not the start-up. |

Here they claim, that it was in 1968 --> http://commercialvehicle.in/cracking-safes-in-a-standard-20/ And yes, Standard 20. |
