More likely 1942 onwards forward Control Q25 rather than 1936 to 1939 N-series I believe. http://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p544424612/h3DEFFF84#h3defff84 edit: First introduced as Q25 (also Q2) Superpoise forward control in August 1941 for essential civilian use and more general use after 1945. Based on Q25 and Q2 Superpoise normal control chassis from April 1939 (suspended for civilian use between late 1939 and 1941). -- Last edit: 2015-06-16 13:44:31 |

Information from the CM archive indicates the N-series was completly replaced by the Q-series Superpoise between 1939 and 1941. The N-series, normal control: N1, N2, N3, N4 and forward control: N1, N3, N5, were all replaced by Q-series equivalents before April 1941. The Q-series Superpoise name was applied to both forward and normal control chassis alike. |
