I know that in 1960, there was a Custom 300 option for Fairlane fordor and tudor sedans that deleted a few standard features and dropped the price about 30 dollars. Perhaps something similar was done in model year 1961. So even this car is a Fairlane, though it could be part of that 303, as it appears to have been built for the US Government
