Plate issued Wigan, sometime between 1904 and 1929. No trace now. List of cars at Doune Motor Museum (closed in 1998) shows 1923 Citroen 5CV |

Clearly a Type C / 5HP / 5 CV (known as Citroën 5 HP in the IMCDb), indeed. With late 1922+ hood louvers. ([C2] or [C3], impossible to say, as it depends on the wheelbase. The 5HP was sold in the UK as 7.5 h.p. So ths one has to be listed as such (not only it's a RHD, but also the extra lights on the front fenders define this as a British car). But it's an imported car, because assembly in Slough only started with the 1926 model (with rounded fenders). |
