Ce n'est pas une Grand Prix mais une Catalina (La calandre est différente). Elle est de 1970.

1970 is right. But couldn't it also be a Bonneville or a Catalina?

Althouth, it doesn't seem like the kind of car that an anchorman like Ron Burgundy should have.

It's most definitely a Pontiac Catalina (Link to "images.google.co.uk")

Probably one of the best looking US cars ever produced.

I think the misguided Ron would have a car just like this. The Catalina is the bottom of the full sized Pontiac line, and strangely styled. It's a little "off" just like the Anchorman himself. A classly Lincoln would not suit the him at all.

I wonder what those circular vents are for.

^Keeps the car from resembling an Edsel too much.

Are they functional vents?

All full-sized Pontiacs, including Catalinas, received a new Grand Prix-like V-nose grille for 1970 along with 'horns ports' on a facelifted front end.

Nice photography.
Good front close-up in last thumbnail.

I like Don Johnson's Executive 400 from Dead Bang a little better than this.

The fog lights just work so well in it.

Those are refered in Pontiac lit as "horn vents", what ever that is.

Maybe vents to allow the sound of the horn/s to get out? Just a thought ...

Early Jag Mk1 and Mk2 2.4 had same idea - eg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/98/MHV_Jaguar_2.4_1955_01.jpg . Also several 60s/70s Daimlers eg /vehicle_204115-Daimler-Majestic-Major-DQ450-1961.html
