It seems they used/modified several similar (but not identical) cars, maybe for the final movie when there will be more/better pictures then multiple pages can be made then edit: on allocine.fr they say that the cars were inspired from cars of the 50s and 60s, they seem to say that made the for the movie, but I suppose they rather simply modified existing cars... -- Last edit: 2014-12-18 18:03:07 |

Buick. |

I'm certain it's a 1960 Buick, the question is if it's an Electra, LeSabre, or Invicta. |

Look at those ugly anachronistic plastic alloys! Unless it's modern-day Cuba (which I doubt, as this movie will be set in France), inexcuseable! -- Last edit: 2014-12-18 18:09:14 |

It is to make them more like cars from a comics (since it is a movie made after that), but it looks quite bad Original drawing: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/1e/Benoit_Brisefer_Taxis_Rouge.jpg |

Yes, I already knew it was a comic. |

They're ugly, whatever they are! |

There was just one 6 window hardtop Buick in 1960 and it was the Electra 225 Riviera [4829]. So this car must be one that had some trim removed! |

Probably the best wheel covers available at Lidl. |

. Probably only three cars and some CGI added for this view of their nest : |

The main one is 1960; the ones with slanted headlights are 1959. |
