1955-59 Chevrolet Task-Force / GMC Blue Chip pickup. GMC model due to the visible bumper and grille parts overflowing on the fender. With the the 1955 only "grille extension panels" (1) and the smallest wheelbase, available only for the ½-ton 100 truck. Unlike for both the previous and the following truck lines, the model names were apparently the same in Canada and in the USA for the Blue Chip trucks. But it's not a full certainty for light-duty models, as I just found documents showing the same names for some heavy-duty trucks. A 100 model with the 1st (out of 3) wheelbase gives a... 101 GMC model code. Or 101-8 if with a V8, but the appropriate fender emblem isn't visible here (although it could just be missing). _____ 1: metal pieces between the park lamps and the bumper. To compare: a 1955 model with them, and a 1956 one without. -- Last edit: 2015-07-12 17:11:00 |
