Coles Hydra

If I'm not mistaken the above crane is a Grove and not a Coles coz it has got a half front cabin and the cabin from which the mechanism of the crane is operated is on the left hand side; unlike that of the Coles.

How pointless this is

Why is it pointless? If its a Grove, then it can't be called a Coles! If you see the crane properly, all the details show that its an old Grove model. I know cranes well enough mate and I've been researching on them since all my life and I believe I can recognise cranes well enough! therefore I don't think this is in any way pointless mate!

Welcome Oliver! It's glad to hear you are expert on crane vehicles. Here's one which has puzzled me for some time now:

Pleased to meet you Raul! What an interesting crane this is!!!This must be one of those FAUN early models which were still with lattice jib work; like the old Coles and the early Hydrocon (like the one I have); have you got any Hydrocon Crane photos?
