dsl ◊ 2014-08-17 01:00	Grille is Morris 1100 Mk2 and has Mk2 side indicators, plate is fake unissued and with L suffix would be Mk3 if genuine. 1100 Pandas were often Mk3 - I can't say never Mk2, but to me unlikely. So probably ordinary Mk2 panda lookalike with fake plate and designed to be trashed.

dsl ◊ 2014-08-17 01:57	S'ok - it took me a few minutes to untangle this one. As a very rough rule - straight thicker round bar grilles like this are Morris (1100 Mk1&2, 1800 Mk1, Oxford S6, Mini Cooper) while only Austin have wavy grilles (1100 Mk1&2, ordinary Mini Mk1, A40 Farina Mk1). Both makes also used lots of other different grille patterns but did not really cross over this split.
