Peter Sellers bought it for his squeeze at the time - Britt Ekland - and on 7h October 1965 drove it out of a mocked-up birthday cake in Radford’s West London showroom while she looked on in admiration. . Famous occasion, lots of photos online, but very difficult to pin down the actual registration. I think it was based on Austin Cooper S 1275.
