India never used T-62. They uprgraded their T55 with British 105mm L7 gun, like this one: Link to "www.armyrecognition.com" or this: Link to "3.bp.blogspot.com" EDIT: Ah, OK -- Last edit: 2014-05-18 22:13:59 |

In the war scenes portrayed as Pakistani Tanks, which were really just Indian Army ones with the Pakistani Logo on them: Then several return as Indian Army tanks: |

The T62 was too expensive for most non-USSR users. AFAIK, the only WarPac user was Bulgaria. While it was expensive, it wasn't a really technical progress in comparision to T-55. And those vehicels are of Polish production. I can't find source now, but it says that first Polish T55's for India came from Polish Army, and then - with sme improvements - directly from factory. -- Last edit: 2014-05-18 22:49:47 |

That looks like a Tiran, an old T-55 upgraded by the Isrelis with a T-55 turret hull and fume extractor on the gun like that on a T-62, /vehicles_make-ZTS-Martin_model-T-55+Tiran.html |
