C'est une vraie ou une réplique style Apal? Les enjoilveurs de roues me font douter... |

Not an Apal, but a Vintage replica. Note the rims and the hubcaps |

It's an original Porsche 356 Speedster. Lot of original Speedster in California have these chrome wheels and hubcaps. Note the ivory steering wheel is an original Porsche 356 part, the dashboard and gauges too, it's different on replicas. -- Last edit: 2008-06-12 05:36:32 |

The original 356 dashboard had a straight top, not a raised block with instruments... |

It's a raised block with 3 instruments on the original 356 Speedster(and Convertible D). Dashboard had a straight top on 356 cabriolet and coupe but not on the Speedster. -- Last edit: 2008-11-29 04:12:37 |

Nice to know that, Speedoo. Thanks! Btw. I guess it would be appreciated if you'd use thumbnails instead of these rather big pictures |

Okay, is this a 356 Speedster, or could it be a 356 Cabriolet? I posted a pic for the show "Scarecrow and Mrs. King," where Bruce Boxleitner's character of Scarecrow drives a 1963 Porshe 356 Cabriolet, and it looks almost identical to this one. However, there may be definite differences...just curious?? Also, what about a year for this one, which ever model it may be? Is this around a '63 too? -- Last edit: 2011-02-26 05:28:41 |

This is a 1957 356A (T2) Speedster, the 356 B Cabriolet have a taller windshield and roll up windows, the bumpers and front lights are higher, the soft top is more "sophisticated", the hood is more angular, the rear lid have two grilles... -- Last edit: 2017-10-10 02:04:30 |
